This exclusive camp, the ultimate wilderness retreat, where, from the
privacy of the verandah, or from the outdoor Victorian bathtub, elephants and giraffes can
be seen drinking at the river.
Situated in the heart of the reserve, this camp enjoys prime
views of the spectacular wildebeest migration between June and September, and some of
the world's most rewarding big cat sightings during the remainder of the year.
Situated on a thickly forested river in the middle of the Masai Mara reserve.
Open-air riverfront dining area, intimate lounge and camp library. Leisure facilities include
a swimming pool at the sister camp, Mara Intrepids, private game drives with expert local guides,
walking safaris, visits to local villages, transfers for early morning hot air balloon flights, Lake Victoria
fishing safaris, lectures and shows on Masai culture and wildlife.
The camp is closed from mid March to the end of May.
