Cottar’s 1920s Camp is set among 6,000 acres of privately conserved land within the Masai Mara game reserve. This provides guests with a true safari retreat as you are close to all the action, from spotting the Big Five to witnessing the spectacular wildebeest migration. This Camp is also secluded from passing aircraft or hot air balloons.

Whether you’re a family, a honeymoon couple, or travelling solo, Cottar’s 1920s Camp has something for you. There are six canvas tents suitable for up to two adults, each with an en suite bathroom, dressing room and veranda. The four family tents each have their own living room with a fireplace, and the honeymoon tent is set in splendid isolation, offering the perfect view of the reserve.

For those with children, the camp has a children’s entertainment programme on offer, as well as a Masai Warrior School where they can learn how the Masai train for battle.
