Situated on a large private concession in a remote and beautiful place in the heart of the Zambezi Valley's Mana Pools National Park.
Ruckomechi Camp looks out from the banks of the mighty Zambezi River and is shaded by a large grove of acacia and mahogany trees and has a superb view of the mountains of Africa's Great Rift Valley across the river in Zambia.
Situated on the western boundary of Mana Pools National Park, Ruckomechi Camp lies on the banks of the Zambezi River.
The central dining, bar, library and lounge areas face the escarpment, and there is a separate deck with an infinity pool for swimming and sunbathing, and an inviting, cushion-strewn star-gazing deck. There is also a bath with a view in a secluded and scenic spot. The camp is environmentally friendly with hot water and lighting for each unit provided by solar power. Activities include wildlife viewing in open 4x4 vehicles, on motorised pontoon boats, on foot and in canoes, and fishing.
There are ten spacious en suite tents, including a honeymoon suite, all of which overlook the Zambezi River. Each beautifully decorated tent has both indoor and outdoor showers, heated by solar power.
