Mara Ballooning Option
from $605
An exciting alternative to your morning game drive. Up
before dawn and drive to the balloon launch site. Once
the balloon is inflated, sail away on an exhilarating
flight for about an hour. A 'bubbly' breakfast with all
the trimmings is served where you touchdown.
Sweetwaters Serena Camp
A sheltered oasis, designed to offer a charming blend of
under-canvas ambience and uncompromising luxury. This
tented camp is in a class of its own.
In 2013 Sweetwaters Tented Camp underwent an
extensive refurbishment of the public areas, which has
made a significant improvement.
As a private reserve it allows unforgettable pleasures such
as night game drives, guided bush & bird walks and camel
riding across the plains teeming with game.
The 50 tents are luxurious, with en suite bathrooms and
views over the waterhole.
Mara Serena Lodge
The Mara Serena Lodge is set high on a bush-cloaked hill,
embraced by arcing vistas and washed by a sea of richly
rolling grasslands. The lodge stands center-stage to one of
Africa's most dramatic wildlife arenas and has a ringside
seat for the greatest wildlife show on earth, the legendary
migration of the wildebeest.
The restaurant serves delicious international cuisine,
buffets and barbecues plus authentic African dishes.
Relax in the lounge and bar or cool off in the pool.
The 74 guest rooms have en suite bathrooms and a
private balcony.
Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp
Serena's newest luxury camp is situated within the
Soysambu Conservancy. It offers spectacular views of Lake
Elementeita where thousands of pelicans and flamingoes
gather to feed at the shallow waters.
The main area has a restaurant serving excellent food and
a lounge area. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool
and a spa offering massage and beauty treatments.
The 24 tents have en suite bathrooms, telephone, mini
bar, safe and private verandah with views of the lake. The
Flamingo suite has a spacious lounge, jacuzzi and a prime
lake view.
