ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK - SELF DRIVE
Imagine driving through the 5000 square km of National Park, sanctuary
for black and white rhinos, large herds of elephants, lions, loads
of bird life and being able to stop wherever and whenever you want, you are
now in Etosha.
Day 1 Windhoek - Otjiwarongo
On arrival met by our representative. Collect your vehicle, drive to Windhoek, then turning
north drive to Otjiwarongo (250 km).
Overnight: Ai Aiba Lodge or similar.

Day 2 Etosha National Park
Drive north to the Etosha National Park, one of Africa's largest and most diverse
wilderness areas (350 km). Drive through the park game viewing en route to
your Lodge.
Overnight : Etosha Safari Lodge

Day 3 Etosha National Park
Day 4 Etosha National Park
This morning you will drive south-west, enjoying the variety of animals and birds
that inhabit the park, and eagerly await the animals to appear at one of the
waterholes. On your way to your next lodge, you will travel along the Etosha
Pan, a vast saline desert that serves as the only source of salt for 114 different
animal species as well as 340 different bird species that inhabit the park.

Day 5 Windhoek
Drive south to Windhoek via Okahandja, where you can visit the large craft
markets (450 km). Your route takes you between high mountain ranges back to
the capital city, Windhoek.

Day 6 Depart
Today you will drive the short distance to the airport (50 km) for your onward flight.
