Welcome to Kenya! Upon your arrival at Nairobi Airport, you will be greeted with a warm smile by one of Somak's drivers. After a smooth transfer to Eka Hotel, take a moment to freshen up ahead of your drive to Amboseli. As you leave the city behind, embark on a scenic drive towards Amboseli National Park, located 250 km away at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will arrive in time for lunch at you lodge, right alongside the Kimana Gate park entrance. After settling in you will head out for the first of your African game drives in a well-equipped 4x4 in the care of one of our knowledgeable and experienced driver guides.

Rise early for an exhilarating game drive as dawn breaks over Amboseli National Park. Marvel at the iconic elephants and other wildlife as they come to life in the soft morning light.

After your adventure, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before spending the day at leisure. Indulge in a soothing spa treatment or relax by the pool.

Following a delightful lunch, embark on another thrilling afternoon game drive, where more wildlife encounters await.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic road transfer from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha. The 350km road trip is a journey that immerses you in the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Arriving in time for a delicious lunch at the lodge, you'll be treated to exquisite views and the soothing sounds of nature.

The afternoon is yours to explore the resort's many offerings, including activities for families and children. Unwind with a rejuvenating spa treatment, embark on a biking adventure, or take a leisurely stroll to the lake, where you can indulge in some of the best birdwatching in the region which boasts over 500 species.

Following an early breakfast, embark on a picturesque journey to the legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve. Covering 270 km, this trip offers more than just a transfer - it's a captivating adventure through diverse landscapes. Stay alert for possible wildlife sightings as you travel.

Savour a delicious lunch and take some time to unwind before venturing out on an exhilarating late-afternoon game drive. Led by one of Somak's experienced driver guides, you'll explore the diverse terrain with enhanced opportunities to spot the iconic `big five' -lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros.

Start the day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. If you are lucky you might encounter cheetahs, elephants, or large herds of wildebeest if visiting during the months of the great migration.
After lunch head back out to explore more of the majestic Mara's wealth of wildlife.

Alternate option for this day (extra payable in advance):
Take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast then enjoy a game drive before heading back to camp for a delicious hot lunch.

After breakfast it's time to prepare for your journey back to Nairobi. The road trip is picturesque with much to see. Keep your camera at the ready, for this route offers more opportunities to spot wildlife - perhaps a herd of zebras grazing or a family of elephants crossing your path. Alternatively you could opt to fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi on the morning flight (price on request)

Thereafter proceed with your chosen extension or return home.
