At the heart of the awesome Aberdare National Park, you can delight in The Ark's location, sitting above its own floodlit waterhole and salt-lick.
Both attract a wide rand of African wildlife to the delight of guests who have a choice of panoramic views from a series of decks around the unique, boat shaped lodge. Guests can also choose to get up close and personal in the safety of a ground-level viewing bunker, allowing them to be a few feet away from groups of elephants.

Note: Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted at Ark Lodge.
Rooms
The rooms in The Ark are called cabins and all have ensuite bathrooms, windows with a view of either the forest or the waterhole, and an intercom system which buzzes to inform guests of animals' arrivals at the salt lick or waterhole.
Rooms comprise a variety of configurations from single and twin, to family, king, queen sizes across three "Decks" Deck C has an accessible room with handicap facilities.
Deck C also is the location for all the main lodge facilities including a restaurant, bar and viewing deck - all of which is accessible by wheelchair.
