The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi, Kenya
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya is an animal sanctuary primarily focused on caring for orphaned elephants, mostly due to poaching. Here the keepers look after the orphans until they are ready to be rehabilitated back into the wild. You can sponsor an elephant here and visit during feeding times, to see them interact with one another. It is a truly special place and definitely a heart warming one for the Instagram feed.
