Elewana Safari by Air
Travel in style and comfort in Elewana’s Cessna
Grand Caravan aircraft, with 9 executive seats.
Road transfers and game drives are in safari
cruisers equipped with binoculars, guide and
reference books, cool box and refreshments, bush
lunch awnings and power points to charge your
batteries. This safari departs on alternate days.
Day 1 Arusha
Met at Kilimanjaro airport and transferred to Arusha Coffee
Lodge for lunch (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). Enjoy
dinner and a complimentary upgrade to Plantation Suite. (l,d)
Day 2 Tarangire
After breakfast tour the nearby coffee estate followed by
lunch in the gardens. Transfer to Arusha airport for your
Elewana Sky flight to Tarangire (approximately 25 minutes).
On arrival enjoy an afternoon game drive in Tarangire
National Park. Overnight: Tarangire Treetops. (b,l,d)
Day 3 Tarangire
Take an early morning balloon flight over Tarangire,
followed by a ‘bubbly’ breakfast (optional extra). Visit a
traditional Masai village in the morning or take an early
morning guided game walk. After lunch enjoy an
afternoon game drive in the Tarangire National Park,
Followed by sundowners and a night game drive.

Day 4 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, a game drive through Tarangire National
Park, stopping for a sumptuous picnic lunch. Later transfer to
the Kuro Tarangire airstrip for your flight to Manyara
(approximately 20 minutes). Transfer to The Manor at
Ngorongoro for overnight. (b,l,d)
Day 5 Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive down to explore the Ngorongoro
Crater. Enjoy a picnic hamper lunch on the crater floor.

Day 6 Serengeti
Today’s options include a game drive in Lake Manyara
National Park, a spa treatment, horse riding, cycling, a tour
of the estate or simply relaxing at the Manor. After lunch
transfer to the airstrip at Manyara for your Elewana Sky
flight to the Serengeti (approximately 40 minutes).
Afternoon game drive and arrive at your camp in time for
sundowners. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp. (b,l,d)
Day 7 Serengeti
A full day exploring this famous reserve with lunch in the
Serengeti bush. Overnight: Serengeti Migration Camp. (b,l,d)
Day 8 Arusha
After breakfast explore the banks of the Grumeti River on a
guided game walk. After lunch drive to the airstrip
(approximately 1 hour) for your Elewana Sky flight back to
Arusha (approximately 1 hour). Met and transferred to your
accommodation, with a complimentary upgrade to a
Plantation Suite. Overnight: Arusha Coffee Lodge. (b,l,d)
Day 9 Extension or USA
After breakfast you may choose from a selection of activities
including a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, the Cultural
Heritage Art Gallery or the colorful Masai Market. Transfer to
Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Nairobi (approximately
1 hour 30 minutes). Proceed with your chosen extension (see
‘where next’) or return to the USA. (b,l)
Alternatively, there is the option to fly from Arusha to
Zanzibar on days 8 or 9 for your beach extension.
15 kg luggage allowance on all light aircraft (extra
luggage can be stored at Arusha Coffee Lodge).

Tarangire Ballooning Option
from $620
An exciting alternative to your morning game drive. Up
before dawn and drive to the balloon launch site. Once
the balloon is inflated, sail away on an exhilarating
flight for about an hour. A 'bubbly' breakfast with all
the trimmings is served where you touchdown.
This safari is offered by road, or by flying in
Elewana’s very own executive-class aircraft, with
slight differences to the itinerary. Both options offer
a true ‘Out of Africa’ experience each traveling
through contrasting landscapes with stays in some
of the finest accommodation on the safari circuit.
