Safari Court Hotel
This is a large, fairly modern hotel, in the residential
district of Windhoek close to Eros (domestic) Airport.
There are 215 well appointed rooms and suites.
Facilities include the Acacia Restaurant, the Welwitschia
Restaurant, beer garden and patio, the Steakhouse,
Palms Bar, Flamingo Bar and Pool Bar.
Hotel Eberwein
Built in 1909 and converted into a first class hotel in
1999. Set amidst turn-of-the-century buildings, just a
short stroll from the beach.
There are 16 rooms with a bath or shower, TV, telephone,
mini bar and hairdryer, plus underfloor heating.
Facilities include a cosy lounge with a selection of South
African wines and local beer on tap.
Damara Mopane Lodge
Built under mopane trees and connected by a labyrinth of
paths, the main building and chalets of the lodge look like
an African village. Near Twyfelfontein, Damaraland.
Each of the 60 air-conditioned double room chalets sits in
a vegetable and herb garden surrounded by a low wall.
Facilities include a buffet restaurant, lounge, bar and
swimming pool.
Namib Desert Lodge
At the foot of a red sandstone cliff, an ideal starting
point for excursions into the Sossusvlei region. Situated
in Sossusvlei, north of Sesriem the entrance to the
Namib desert park.
46 rooms with en suite bath/shower, fans and a
verandah. Facilities include a restaurant and a
swimming pool.
