OPTION 1
Day 1 South Luangwa National Park
Met on arrival at Lusaka Airport and assisted to your
connecting flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa
(approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes). On arrival transfer
to the camp. This afternoon you will venture out on your
first safari drive, returning after dark with a spotlight in
search of nocturnal species that will not be seen by day.

Days 2-4 South Luangwa National Park
You will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game
drives. Overnight: Flatdogs Luxury Camp. (b,l,d)
Day 5 South Luangwa National Park
Travel up the western bank of the Luangwa River
(approximately 3 hours) to Lion Camp in the northern
sector away from any other camps. Your game viewing will
be either on foot or from open safari vehicles. Night drives
from this camp are often very rewarding. Overnight: Lion

Days 6-7 South Luangwa National Park
Enjoy your game viewing either on foot or in open safari
vehicles in South Luangwa around the open dambos
interspersed with attractive ox-bow lagoons. Overnight:
Lion Camp. (b,l,d)
Day 8 Livingstone
Today you will drive through the park towards Mfuwe for
the light aircraft flight to Lusaka (approximately 1 hour and
10 minutes) and connect with your light aircraft flight to
Livingstone (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes). On
arrival in Livingstone transfer to Chundukwa River Lodge
(approximately 30 minutes), set on a bank overlooking the
Zambezi River 22 kilometers up-stream from Victoria Falls.

Day 9 Livingstone
Free time to relax and enjoy optional activities and the
beautiful surroundings. Overnight: Chundukwa River
Lodge. (b)
Day 10 Livingstone
After breakfast transfer to Livingstone airport
(approximately 30 minutes) in time to connect with your
onward travel arrangements. (b)
15 kg luggage allowance on all light aircraft.
Children under 12 years are not permitted at Lion Camp.

Day 1 South Luangwa National Park
Fly by light aircraft from Lusaka to Mfuwe, South Luangwa
and then road transfer to your camp. Afternoon game

Days 2-5 South Luangwa National Park
Morning and afternoon game activities in search of wildlife
in this superb national park. Overnight: Flatdogs Luxury
Camp. (b,l,d)
DAY 6 Livingstone
Fly by light aircraft from Mfuwe to Livingstone via Lusaka
(plane change). Road transfer to Chundukwe River Lodge.
Overnight: Chundukwe River Lodge. (b)
DAY 7 Livingstone
Day at leisure to relax or enjoy some of the many
optional activities available. Overnight: Chundukwe River
Lodge. (b)
DAY 8 Livingstone
Transfer to Livingstone airport in time to connect with your

South Luangwa National Park – Livingstone
Combine one of the finest National Parks in
Southern Africa with the magnificence of the
Victoria Falls. The South Luangwa National Park
is certainly Zambia’s premier wildlife destination
and is widely regarded as one of Africa’s last great
untamed wildernesses. It is home to large herds of
elephants and buffaloes as well as a great variety of
predator and prey species, and has one of the
densest populations of leopards found anywhere on
the continent.
