Udaipur Known as “The City of Lakes” and nicknamed “The Venice of the East”, Udaipur is a welcome oasis amidst the dry heat of Rajasthan. Udaipur is home to several heritage sites, numerous lakes, and the Aravalli Hills. The City Palace is a must-see, with stunning views of Lake Pichola from its upper terraces. Jodhpur Shielded by a 10km stone wall, Jodhpur is nestled on the edge of the Thar Desert and is often referred to as a jewel in the crown of Rajasthan. The City is watched over by the Mehrangarh Fort, an intricate battlement which sits 400ft above. Other must-sees include Jaswant Thada, Ghanta Ghar and Umaid Bhawan Palace.
