30 Somak Holidays Day 1 Fly from the UK overnight to Nairobi via Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines. Day 2 Nairobi Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Optional excursions are available. Overnight: Tamarind Tree Hotel. Day 3 Aberdares After breakfast, depart on your safari and head towards the Aberdares (180 km). Arrive for lunch, and in the afternoon relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Overnight: Aberdare Country Club. (b,l,d) Days 4 – 5 Samburu Drive north across the equator to the Samburu National Reserve (190 km). Arrive for lunch at your accommodation, your base for the next 2 nights. Enjoy lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive. The next day take morning and late afternoon game drives in the Samburu National Park, which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River. Overnight: Ashnil Samburu Camp. (b,l,d) Day 6 Aberdares After breakfast depart for the Aberdares (240 km). Lunch and the afternoon is spent viewing the animals as they come to the waterhole. Overnight: Serena Mountain Lodge. (b,l,d) Day 7 Lake Nakuru/Lake Naivasha After breakfast, descend into the Great Rift Valley and continue to Lake Nakuru Lodge (240 km) with a game drive in the National Park. Lunch, then drive to Lake Naivasha (80 km – approximately 1 hour). Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. (b,l,d) Days 8 – 9 Masai Mara Depart for the world-famous Masai Mara (270 km). Arrive for lunch at your camp, your base for the next 2 nights. Lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. The next day, spend a full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives and time at leisure. Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp.
