Day 3 Jinka Fly to Jinka and visit the Omo Valley Cultural Museum. Overnight: Eco Omo Lodge. (b,l,d) Day 4 Turmi After breakfast drive to Mursi Village to see the Mursi tribe, whose women having their lower lips slit and circular clay discs inserted. Proceed to Mago National Park in the afternoon for a game drive. Overnight: Buska Lodge. (b,l,d) Day 5 Day Trip to Murulle Morning excursion to Murulle, the village of the Karo people, who are the least in number and known for their body paintings. Afternoon visit to the village of the Hamer people around Turmi. Overnight: Buska Lodge. (b,l,d) Day 6 Arba Minch Drive to the town of Arba Minch. Overnight: Paradise Lodge. (b,l,d) Day 7 Awassa Boat trip on Lake Chamo where you can spot hippos and the world's most spectacular concentrations of giant crocodiles (locally known as ‘crocodile market’). Drive to Lake Awassa to enjoy the sunset over its waters. Overnight: Haile Resort. (b,l,d) Day 8 Bale Mountains After breakfast, drive from Awassa to Dinsho, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park, for a hike to spot the endemic mountain nyala, Menelik’s bushbuck and the common mammals like warthog, reed buck, gray duiker. Short afternoon excursion to Gessay to spot more mammals and birds. Overnight: Wabi Shebelle Hotel. (b,l,d) Day 9 Bale Mountains Early departure to ascend the Bale massif onto the Sanetti Plateau to see the Ethiopian or Simien wolf. Visit the escarpment of this elevated plateau to peer down, through the clouds, at the vast Harenna Forest below. Afternoon return to Goba. Overnight: Wabi Shebelle Hotel.(b,l,d) Day 10 Langano After breakfast, drive to the town of Shashamane and then on to Langano, one of the Rift Valley Lakes. The rest of the day will be free at Sabana Beach Resort, there you will have the chance to enjoy the great sunset over the lake. Overnight: Sabana Beach Resort. (b,l,d) Day 11 Depart Drive back to Addis Ababa. Enjoy a farewell dinner at one of the best traditional restaurants in Addis to see the folk dances of the Ethiopian people and experience the local cuisine. Late evening, transfer to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
