Amakhala Game Reserve
Amakhala Game Reserve, near Port Elizabeth is the ideal, malaria-free choice for your ‘Big 5’ safari destination. It is an ideal location for
the traveler visiting Cape Town, the Winelands and the famous Garden Route. This 29 square mile private reserve is renowned for its truly
awesome topography and wildlife. Amakhala has a selection of 11 properties consisting of country houses, safari lodges and tented camps

Bush Lodge

Discreetly positioned in the bush at the top end of an open valley in the reserve, each of the superlative en suite,
tented and thatched suites overlooks a watering point with big sky views.

Offers a luxurious dining area, splendid lounge areas and an expansive viewing deck with magnificent views
of game-filled plains. Two daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with an experienced ranger.
Accommodation:
5 air-conditioned tents each with secluded private viewing deck with intimate plunge pool, full en
suite bathroom and mini bar.
Children under 9 years are not permitted to stay at this lodge.

Safari Lodge

areas and a delightful viewing area. Two daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with an experienced ranger.

11 air-conditioned, partially tented rooms with separate lounge area, private plunge pools, full en
suite bathroom, outdoor shower, underfloor heating and mini bar fridge.
