LEWA OL PEJETA Safari itinerary featuring Ol Pejeta Conservancy: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is a thriving conservancy nestled at the foothills of Mount Kenya, and is home to some of Africa’s most endangered species, along with a plethora of other wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and big cats. The nearest town is Nanyuki and both the chimpanzee and rhino sanctuary is close by. Aside from game drives, there are many different activities you can participate in, such as horse riding, quad biking, fly camping and walking. Laikipia is a beautiful and remote region between Mount Kenya and Samburu. Covering a wide range of landscapes including high altitude plateaus, low forested valleys and deep rocky river gorges, the area has become a sanctuary for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and a wealth of plains game. The safari lodges in Laikipia are among the most luxurious in Kenya, and the involvement of local Samburu and Masai communities in tourism allows visitors a rare opportunity to meet local people in an authentic environment. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy situated on the foothills on Mount Kenya with nearest town Nanyuki. It houses a rhino sanctuary and is the only place in Kenya to see the chimpanzees, rescued from the black market, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate them. • Sweetwaters Serena Camp • Ol Pejeta House • Nanyuki • Elewana Loisaba Loisaba Airstrip • Elewana Star Beds Nanyuki Airstrip Lewa Airstrip • Elewana Lewa Borana Lodge • Kicheche Laikipia • L A I K I P I A Porini Rhino Camp •
