www.somak.co.uk 21 Tsavo West National Park Tsavo West National Park is famous for the Mzima Springs and the Shetani lava flows. In addition the park has over 600 species of birds. Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge This classic stone-built lodge was one of the first to be built in Tsavo National Park and overlooks its own waterhole, which is visited by a variety of wildlife. The lodge has a thatched central dining area, rock-built bar, and a viewing terrace. There are 56 en suite rooms with verandas, some overlooking the waterhole, some the Chyulu Hills. Finch Hattons Luxury Camp Situated in a 35-acre concession on the southwest edge of Tsavo West National Park. The main restaurant offers a six course dinner in a setting of a bygone era of taste and elegance. A comfortable bar and lounge area creates an informal country house atmosphere. Lions Bluff Lodge (Lumo Conservancy) Lions Bluff Lodge is suspended above an ancient elephant migratory corridor, with stunning panoramic views extending across the Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary and the Tsavo eco-system to Mount Kilimanjaro. There are three types of rooms which all have incredible views.
