It is all about creating special memories whilst enjoying the natural environment and beautiful surroundings that Kenya has to offer. Here is a selection of our best safari experiences which can be incorporated as part of a bespoke tailor-made itinerary that our specialist consultants will be happy to create for you. Experiences in Nairobi There is a wide range of enticing activities and attractions to enjoy in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital; food, culture, wildlife and conservation. These include visiting The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see, and perhaps adopt, orphaned baby elephants, feeding the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes at the Giraffe Centre, visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and much more. See page 18 and 19 for more details. Ballooning safari A ballooning safari is an amazing and unique way to see the African savannah and wildlife grazing from above. The flight, which is approximately 1 hour, takes off in time for you to witness the African dawn and you will be able to enjoy a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast. Balloon safaris can be booked whilst staying at any property in the Masai Mara, Kenya’s well renowned game park. Boat safari in Naivasha A boat ride on Lake Naivasha, one of the Great Rift Valley Lakes, is a great way to take in hippos and nesting cormorants, as well as enjoy the beautiful views. There is an opportunity to see the African fish eagle being fed, which is one of the most charismatic birds in Africa. Another lovely activity is to walk along Crescent Island, which is an animal and bird sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha that is home to a plethora of wildlife. Here you can see animals such as giraffes, zebras, impalas and gazelles grazing. Both these activities can be incorporated as one, or each can be done as an individual experience.
