Day 2 South Luangwa Met and assisted for onward light aircraft flight to Mfuwe, South Luangwa (approximately 1 hour). Safari transfer with game viewing to Mkwali Camp, overlooking the South Luangwa National Park. Overnight: Nkwali Camp Day 3 South Luangwa Full day to enjoy the safari activities from morning walk or drive and late afternoon early evening game drive with a chance to view the nocturnal world. Overnight: Nkwali Camp Day 4 South Luangwa Depart for another location within the South Luangwa with game viewing en route, to the Nsefu sector of the park. Nsefu was the first game camp in Zambia and dates back to the early fifties. Late afternoon early evening game drive. Overnight: Nsefu Camp Days 5–6 South Luangwa Today there is a chance to drive or walk through the ebony groves, or all day out with a picnic to the salt pans, that will cover different habitats and is an exceptional day’s safari. Next day, some time to relax or enjoy morning and evening game activities and the possibility of visiting Kawaza village. This community tourism initiative is a great opportunity to meet local people and experience life in a real non-tourist village (advance notice required). Overnight: Nsefu Camp Day 7 Lower Zambezi Light aircraft flight to the Lower Zambezi. Transferred to Chiawa Camp with game viewing. Game viewing in the pristine Lower Zambezi National Park is superb and big game, such as elephant, hippo, buffalo and the big cats are even seen regularly in and around the camp! Afternoon activity either on the river or by safari vehicle. Overnight: Chiawa Camp Days 8–9 Lower Zambezi Two full days to enjoy the safari activities on offer, including day and night drives and bush walks, or a selection of canoe trips, river safaris on safe, stable pontoon boats and catch & release angling for the infamous tiger fish. Overnight: Chiawa Camp Day 10 Livingstone Onward flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. Transferred to Tongabezi Lodge, set in a tranquil grove of ebony on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River. Overnight: Tongabezi Lodge Day 11 Livingstone A rest day, or choose from a range of activities available from the lodge, or a visit to the majestic Victoria Falls.
