Sossusvlei and the Namib Desert Nestled in the heart of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, the most stunning part of the Namib Desert, Sossusvlei, with its sea of endless sand dunes. Here you can find unique animals such as black and white oryx as well as ostriches. Namibia Damaraland Damaraland is untamed, wild and vast. It is breathtakingly beautiful, but it’s the ancient Bushman art which is the attraction here. Swakopmund A coastal, colonial town and one of Namibia’s popular holiday destinations. Etosha National Park Etosha means “Great White Place” and is named after the large pans found here. The Park offers game viewing throughout the year. Skeleton Coast The Skeleton Coast is barren, evocative and truly atmospheric. Named after the skeletal shipwrecks that are dotted along the remote western coastline.
